The Return of the Sunday Roast
From September 24th
As sure as autumn follows summer, the Scott Arms’ acclaimed Sunday Roast makes a welcome return.
You know it’s that time of year when the smell of jerk chicken and burgers is replaced by the aroma of roast beef and gravy. The summer might be coming to a close but there’s still plenty of walking and romping to be had in the woods and on the clifftops near to the Scott Arms. And there’s no better way to end your stroll than with one of our fresh-cooked Sunday Roast dinners.
We offer Aberdeen Angus 28-Day Aged Topside, Pulled Purbeck Pork or Wild Mushroom and Lentil Wellington. All served with roasted potatoes, parsnips and carrots, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, spring greens, carrot and swede mash, Yorkshire pudding and stockpot gravy. We also have smaller plates for children and smaller appetites. Enjoy your meal with a glass of your favourite vino or a pint of our many draught ales or cider.
Our Roasts are always hugely popular so please contact us to book a table. Alternatively please email us on bookings@thescottarms.com to bagsie your spot.
